Gioia (pronounced Joy-ya) is an Italian word that means “joy, enjoyment, joyousness, jewel, gem.” Growing up in an Italian family, some of my happiest moments were those spent with family and close friends. This love for connection, travel, and creating special memories inspired the creation of Gioia Permanent Jewelry.

What is Permanent Jewelry?

Permanent jewelry is a unique experience that allows you to have a custom fit, claspless piece that you don't have to take on and off. We can create permanent bracelets, anklets and necklaces. It is considered "permanent" because it does not have a clasp and lays seamless

HOW IT WORKS?

You start by choosing a chain (or multiple) that you would like to turn into your permanent piece. We will measure the chain to your desired length, weld it on, and your custom piece is complete! Each piece is quick to put on, the longest part is deciding which chain you would like.

FAQ

  • We offer 14k Solid Gold, Gold Filled or Sterling Silver chains.

  • We cannot offer replacements or refunds or discounts to replace lost chains, due to the personal nature of the wearer’s lifestyle, job and other external factors that are out of our control.

    All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges on lost or stolen pieces.

  • TSA will not require you to take off permanent jewelry.

  • No pain is involved. All you will feel is the joy of having your new permanent piece of jewelry.

  • All sales are final, once we custom fit, cut the chain and place it on you for welding.

  • We ensure your piece is fully welded on you and there are no issues with the chain on the day of your appointment.

    If enough pressure is applied to the chain or if it gets caught somewhere, the chain can break.

    Get in touch with us if you need a repair. We will inspect the chain before re-welding it on you and make sure there are no issues with the chain.

    We will re-weld any piece for free within 30 days after your jewelry purchase. After 30 days, there will be a $20 service fee applied. PLEASE KEEP YOUR CHAIN.

    We don't offer replacements on broken or lost pieces. If your piece is lost you will need to purchase a replacement. 

  • Yes, while the idea is for the piece to be permanent, it can be easily removed by snipping the welded jump ring chain with a pair of snippers.

  • With parental consent and accompaniment, we will weld anyone over the age of 3 years old.  Anyone under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

    All young people are responsible for the jewelry once it's on their body, and it should be a choice that considers lifestyle, sports, growth spurts, age and other external factors that could cause premature wear and tear.

    Our pieces are durable, but they are not indestructible!

  • Those with pacemakers should not get permanent jewelry because of the welding process. Allergies to solid gold, sterling silver, and gold fill are rare, but those with allergies should not get permanent jewelry.
